Politics

Undergraduate courses starting in 2025

Politics is central to our daily lives. Studying it allows you to understand how and why decisions and policies are made, and their impacts on people’s lives.

By exploring political theories and gaining methodological skills, you’ll enhance your knowledge of our changing world. This will give you the foundation to analyse and address key challenges facing global societies.

Our courses are taught by staff with expertise in conflict, security, climate change, nationalism, populism, international relations, gender, and radical politics.

Graduates often go on to work in the civil service; private and voluntary sectors; banking and finance; and national, European and international media organisations.
