About the workshop
Pure is the University's research information system, designed to be a single source of information about our research. Pure also creates a profile for post-graduate research students showcasing your research on the University’s research portal.
This course will give you an overview of Pure, the data that are provided and how to update your information to be displayed on the research portal. It will also demonstrate how to add new content to Pure including uploading appropriate copies of your publications to make them open access. Finally, you will learn how to export your data from Pure in the form of CV.
Learning outcomes
After attending this workshop, you will:
- gain an overview of the data in Pure
- learn how to update your profile for the University’s research portal
- know how to add new content including publications and research related activities to Pure
- learn how to upload a full-text file to make a publication open access
- know how to create a CV
