About the workshop

This workshop will provide an overview of the ChemDraw software package used for drawing chemical structures and reactions. This will be an introductory session assuming no prior knowledge and will allow plenty of time for you to practice using ChemDraw.

Learning outcomes

After attending this workshop, you will:

  • be able to use ChemDraw to draw accurate chemical structures and reactions
  • know how to transfer a drawing to a Word document and into a SciFinder search
  • be able to use basic prediction tools (e.g.NMR, Chemical properties)
  • know how to access and use templates
