Entrepreneurship and innovation: Knowing your audience and communicating confidently
Learn how to communicate your ideas to non-scientists for maximum impact
A practical workshop to provide researchers with the opportunity to practice compelling communication to non-scientists about their scientific field. Sessions are group driven and explore different audience demographics making for interdisciplinary groups of researchers.
This workshop is part of a wider programme of training, delivered by Spin Up Science, intended to up-skill science and engineering doctoral students in the areas of entrepreneurship and innovation. It is supported by EPSRC funding as part of the National Productivity Investment Fund (NPIF).
The workshops are open to all doctoral students but priority will be given to EPSRC-funded students in the first instance.
