Come and find out more about Fulbright Commission funding

Since 1948, more than 15,000 UK scholars and professionals have been granted awards by the Fulbright Commission to enable them to visit the USA to further their research. Receiving a Fulbright Award opens many doors and provides unparalleled global networking opportunities. Alumni include Nobel prize winners, Pulitzer prize winners, heads of state, leading scientists, and media professionals.

Around 20 UK awards are offered each year, which vary in length from three to 12 months. Each provides:

  • a first class educational experience

  • the chance to forge new research connections

  • the opportunity to travel and meet people from all walks of life

  • access for life to the ever growing Fulbright community and network.

Visit the Fulbright Commission website to find further information about the awards.
