Ignite Plus Bitesize is a series of 20-minute presentations delivered through Microsoft Teams, and designed to be accessible to academics across campus. The presentations will provide information about or linked to Knowledge Exchange activities and introductions to the respective delivery teams. The sessions are designed to provide a summary, raise visibility of the service and signpost where to discover more.

This short session will introduce UK export licences—what they are, how they apply to academic research, and how to manage them at the University of Bath. It will cover the application process and practical steps for operating under a licence, with the aim of showing that export controls are manageable and not a barrier to research.
