Rosie Bennett, Centre Manager for the Bath SETsquared Innovation Centre and Siobain Hone, SETsquared Graduate Enterprise Manager will give an overview of what is on offer to support doctoral researchers who are interested in commercialisation or entrepreneurship. The talk will cover:

  • the Innovation Centre / SETsquared
  • graduate enterprise activities at the University
  • the SETsquared Researcher to Innovator (R2i) Programme
  • the SETsquared iCURE programme
  • the Innovation Award (a grant of circa £18K and annual programme of support for a doctoral researcher to progress a venture idea and take it to market)
  • case studies of successful ventures that have been founded by graduates from the University of Bath
