About the workshop

In three minutes you will breathe over 20 litres of air, your heart will beat around 200 times and your body will give birth to 200 million red blood cells.

And three minutes is all you need to present your research with impact, energy and vision at the 2018 Three Minute Thesis competition.

Designed as a workshop to demonstrate the benefits of the competition for those who are interested to know more and offer a series of tangible elements and structures for those who already know they want to take part, Just Three is a pick and mix session that includes information about 3MT guidelines, slide composition and construction, story structure and delivery, communication elements and ideas, rehearsal structures, audience connection, language and creativity. In fact, everything you need to start preparing your three minute presentation - and all of that in just three hours.
