About the workshop

This workshop will provide an overview of how to find journal articles and conference proceedings in biology and biochemistry, with particular emphasis on Web of Science, the Biosis Citation Index and SciFinder. This will be an interactive session with time for you to use databases relevant for your research.

Learning outcomes

After attending this workshop, you will:

• be able to formulate search strategies and use database features to search for literature more effectively
• be able to use alerting features within relevant databases to keep up to date with literature in your subject
