SciFinder is the most important source of information in chemistry and chemistry related topics. It provides an index to journal articles, patents and chemical data. The following types of searches will be included: chemical name, CAS registry number, molecular formula, topic, author, structure, substructure and reactions. The first half of the session will focus on topic searching and finding property information. The second half of the session will focus on structure and substructure searching.
