On Monday 7th October 2024 at 10:15-12:05 in 4W 1.7 we will have an event entitled "Maths and Fiction". We have invited some distinguished speakers to give talks from the mathematical, literary and sociological worlds: Kara Gnodde, Sarah Hart and Gayle Letherby. 

This event initially arose from the Teaching Development Fund (TDF) project "Fictional narratives as a learning aid in Mathematics" that will explore the pedagogical benefits of fictional stories in mathematics.
