About the workshop

This workshop gives an overview of Parliament and then covers ways to work with the institution, including details on Select Committees, legislative scrutiny, the House of Commons and the House of Lords libraries.

As a result of attending the workshop you will:

  • understand the role and processes of Parliament
  • understand how research is used by the UK Parliament
  • be able to identify opportunities to feed your research into Parliament’s work
  • learn tips and advice on communicating your research at Parliament
