A festival of world-changing research, inspiration and innovation to celebrate the achievements of women in science, engineering, technology and maths.

Join us for a packed day of activities featuring:

  • keynote lectures by world-renowned speakers
  • a thought-provoking panel discussion
  • Global Challenges: subject-specific breakout sessions led by our academics
  • Soapbox research talks, featuring some our PhD students and early-career researchers

Lunch will be provided and the day will end with a celebratory drinks reception.

Events and activities will suit all levels of interest.

Sulis Minerva is the goddess of wisdom and ancient deity of the thermal springs here in Bath.

Keynote lectures by:

  • Professor Dame Linda Partridge (Director of the Institute of Healthy Ageing, UCL; Founding Director of the Max Planck Institute for the Biology of Ageing)
  • Louise Kingham (Chief Executive of Energy Institute)
  • Professor Dame Athene Donald (Professor of Experimental Physics, University of Cambridge)

Panel discussion chaired by Professor Carole Mundell (Head of Department of Physics, University of Bath). Our panelists are:
