About the workshop
This one day workshop is designed for doctoral students and early career researchers who wish to publish but are not sure where to start. The session includes an introduction to the principles and techniques of publishing in an academic journal; how (and why) a thesis should be revised into a monograph; and questions that need to be considered for understanding the peer review and publication process. It will also cover how you can continue to publish after your doctorate.
We strongly encourage you to bring some previous piece of work/writing or working ideas to the workshop.
Organisers
This event is organised by Vandana SIgnh and Tayiba Al Hilali, third year PhD students in the Department of Education. Vandana and Tayiba are looking at the academic need to 'perish or publish'. The workshop is funded by the Doctoral College Training Fund.
