Depending on your teaching experience and professional development goals, you can access this flexible and inclusive programme of activities and resources to gain access to:
- Pathways to Fellowship to support experienced and probationer staff who seek to gain professional accreditation.
- Development opportunities for all staff interested in enhancing their teaching practice, or research skills.

Probationer Pathway to Fellowship
The Probationer Pathway to Fellowship is a work-based curriculum of core activities aimed at developing understanding of academic practice within their individual, departmental and disciplinary context. Successful completion will lead to HEA Fellowship.

Experiential Pathway to Fellowship
The Experiential Pathway to Fellowship enables experienced staff to gain Associate Fellowship, Fellowship or Senior Fellowship accredited by Advance HE in recognition of their teaching, supervision and/or learning support.

PedR - Network & Conversations with Cake
Conversation with cake is an informal, monthly get together for staff who are interested in discussing topics relevant to learning and teaching at the University. Each month we have a paper for discussion that attendees are encouraged to read at least some of before attending, but we still welcome those that haven’t had the time to do so.

This is a practical and intensive programme for research staff who are planning an academic career. You will be able to explore the recruitment process, identify your teaching style, and develop your research ideas. You will receive support to develop an action plan, strengthen your CV, and learn how to market yourself effectively to help you get your first lectureship.
