About the role

Here at the University of Bath Hospitality department, we aren't just about student catering.

As well as serving students, we host large conferences and banquets. Our customers are as diverse as our food!

We have 11 outlets on campus and we're expanding.

Our staff are key to the success of our thriving hospitality business.

As a Food & Beverage Assistant you'll ensure that the day-to-day catering operation runs smoothly by:

• taking customer orders
• serving food and drink
• working on the tills
• stocking food stations
• assisting with cleaning and clearing tables and catering areas

Delivering excellent customer service at all times is at the heart of everything we do. You should have experience of this in a customer focused environment.

Previous experience of working in the hospitality industry is an advantage, but everyone is considered.

You should be a good team worker and remain calm and professional in high pressured situations. It can be very busy at peak times!

We are part of one big team across all hospitality outlets, so there may be opportunities to work in different places to gain more experience.
