Recording variable and hourly-paid work

How to use e-timesheets to record your hours if you're an hourly-paid worker or have variable working hours.

Submitting your e-timesheet

You can submit your e-timesheet using your Employee Self Service login.

Each submitted e-timesheet requires two levels of approval, by your Line Manager and by the Departmental Authoriser. It will then progress to Payroll. Find out more information about how to use e-timesheets.

Problems submitting an e-timesheet

If you are unable to complete an e-timesheet, please contact your manager.

If your manager hasn’t received an e-timesheet that has been submitted, please check the reporting lines are correct using the hourly paid listing.

Contact the Digital, Data and Technology Group (DD&T) if there are technical problems with your Employee Self Service login.
