Using an organisational development approach for projects

Determine if your initiative or project may benefit from an organisational development (OD) approach.

Organisational development projects

Organisational development (OD) is any planned and managed process that sets out to improve the performance of an organisation. It takes a systems approach, seeking to understand and work with both the structural things like organisational structures, policies and procedures, and the human facets like culture, mood and leadership. Anything that influences and adjusts these considerations and the relationships between them can be part of organisational development.

The Workforce Development Team work closely with the Strategic Projects Office (SPO) to lead and help on a variety of OD projects. We bring people together to work collaboratively, facilitating change that will help the University to better achieve its goals.

If you think you have an initiative that would benefit from an OD approach, please get in touch with the Workforce Development Team.
