The Department of Physics is looking to appoint a Research Associate on a full time, 4-month fixed-term position associated with the Networked Quantum Information Technologies Hub funded by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council. You will work within the Centre for Photonics and Photonic Materials.

Experience in theoretical quantum optics and in particular parametric scattering processes, nonlinear photonics in coupled systems, and the development of numerical modelling techniques for guided-wave structures is essential to enable an immediate contribution to the goals of the research project.

Please note that the successful candidate must be available to start no later than 2nd August 2019.
