We are currently recruiting for a Faculty Stores Assistant to work in the Faculty of Science.

You will work as part of a large Technical Team who provide stores and purchasing support for our students, academics and other staff, supporting both teaching and research activities. This particular post will be based in our purchasing facility.

The range of duties can include carrying out basic administrative tasks, receiving goods (from external couriers and internal mail service) and working through the goods receiving process on our online purchase-to-pay finance system.  Other tasks would include matching goods to Purchase Orders, checking POs against goods received and picking internal orders from stores stocks. The post also includes sorting, organisation and delivery of received goods.

Full training will be provided in all aspects of the post, however, an interest in Science, flexibility, efficiency, great communication skills and attention to detail are essential.
