This is an exciting opportunity to join our creative Activities team as a Society Co-ordinator in a full-time role, supporting student-led societies in the Students' Union. The role will allow you to work with a diverse range of students and to test out a variety of ideas and projects within a flexible environment.

As well as the society team, the Activities area consists of an arts, volunteering and sports team, all of which combines to create a vibrant and exciting place to work. You will work closely with the other Society Co-ordinator, as well as with the Activities Officer and the Volunteer and Society Manager.  You will be required to build networks with over 100 student-led societies to develop their offer to the wider student body and to ensure good practice is being followed. You will support with the development of our student leaders so that they are able to carry out their roles effectively, as well as providing guidance towards the management of events and projects.

The role will also assist RAG, our student led fundraising group, by providing advice and support with the many fundraising activities that are delivered each year.

We are looking for someone who is confident in networking with a range of partners, mentoring young people in leading projects and team, as well as an understanding of fundraising and event management. You will also be required to market and promote the area to the wider community.
