An exciting opportunity has arisen for a maternity cover position for one year from October 2022.

The Department of Pharmacy & Pharmacology are looking for an outstanding healthcare professional to contribute to the delivery of our highly successful postgraduate Advanced Programmes in Pharmacy Practice and Therapeutics (AP3T). 

The suite of programmes is highly regarded and delivers high quality teaching of clinical and consultation skills to pharmacists in practice.

Your main role will be the delivery and development of the Advanced Clinical Assessment unit which has a focus on teaching clinical examination and clinical reasoning skills.  There may also be opportunities to contribute to other units and courses across the department.

You will:

  • combine clinical expertise with skills in education and development.
  • work within an experienced team to support the teaching and learning of our postgraduate students.
  • cover a range of face-to-face and online teaching activities
  • support assessment, evaluation and pastoral support for students.

This is a part-time role (0.4FTE) and we would be happy to discuss a flexible working pattern that could suit both the applicant and the delivery of the role.  We welcome applications from those who wish to maintain a clinical or other working  commitment in their non-University hours.
