The University of Bath is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, skilled and experienced professional to lead the University wide planning, coordination and evaluation of two HEFCE funded projects aimed at tackling:

i) sexual harassment and assault,

ii) online harassment and hate crimes. 

The project delivers innovative proposals to address these issues, which are challenging all universities, through changing the culture that leads to harassment and violence. 

This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with the Students’ Union, colleagues from academic and professional departments and as part of a progressive Student Services team delivering an integrated range of high quality, evidence-based services designed to enhance student resilience and wellbeing.

You will have experience of successfully managing projects with tight deadlines and involving multiple stakeholders; using qualitative and quantitative data to evaluate activities; and developing and implementing communication plans.  You will also have excellent interpersonal skills; the ability to influence colleagues at all levels and strong written and verbal communication skills.

Student Services comprises Counsellling; Disability; Residential Life; and Funding Advice services. The post holder will work closely with other Professional Services, Academic Departments and community based agencies.

This post is full time (36.5 hours per week) and is being offered on a fixed term contract basis to cover maternity leave, with an anticipated expiry date of 3 May 2019, or the early return of the post holder (whichever is the sooner).  The post holder will be based on the University Campus.
