This is an exciting opportunity for a creative self-starter with a true passion for digital and social media to work in a team that encourages and supports innovative approaches to delivery. The role offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with colleagues in recruitment, admissions, Marketing & Communications, and elsewhere around the University to produce quality content across a wide variety of social media platforms and communications channels in support of the University's strategy for PGT recruitment. 

This role is focused on the creation of a social media presence for PGT recruitment focused on the creation of dialogue with and between applicants, potential applicants, recruitment managers, agents, PGT admissions staff, alumni and other stakeholders with the intention of improving application volumes and rates of conversion from offer to arrival. Productive liaison with colleagues around the University who are responsible for related activity will be essential in order achieve appropriate integration of PGT activities with activity elsewhere. You will be expected to monitor, respond to, and generate content for social media accounts focused on PGT recruitment, manage the engagement of a team of recruitment managers in the creation and publication of high quality social media content.

Extensive experience of using social media (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Snapchat, Twitter, WeChat, Weibo, Whatsapp, YouTube and live-streaming) in a professional context is an essential criteria for this post as well as a proven ability to generate high-quality, social media and web content to deadline in order to meet campaign objectives. Video editing and Photoshop skills will play a key part in helping the successful candidate produce social media content which engages the target audience.
