The University of Bath Hospitality department provides catering to students, staff and external customers throughout the academic year and during summer months. We have a vacancy for a Hospitality Supervisor! 

About the role:

The successful candidate will supervise and work as part of a team to ensure that the customer experience is optimised and high standards are maintained. 

Duties include:

  • Training team members
  • Rota management 
  • Adhering to financial regulations and health and safety/food hygiene standards
  • Full role details are included in the job description.

This role is 36.5 hours per week on a 5 over 7 rota. The role includes early morning, evening and weekend working.

About you:

  • Experience supervising team members
  • Excellent standards of customer service 
  • Experience in providing team members with operational training
  • Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations, and licensing laws
  • Works well as part of a team
  • Able to remain calm under pressure, as it can be extremely busy
