The Faculty of Science is looking for a pro-active and self-motivated individual to join our Taught Programmes Team. You will play a key role in providing administrative support for our departments, overseeing smooth and efficient operation of our taught programmes and units.

We care about student and staff well-being, providing an excellent service and University reputation. If this approach resonates with you and you are a good team player who also enjoys working independently and taking initiative, we would welcome an application from you.

You should have previous experience of working in a busy administrative role. Attention to detail is important, as is the ability to manage a busy workload with conflicting priorities. You will need to work closely with other team members, academic colleagues and students from across the world, so effective communication skills are essential. You should have good computer skills, with sound proficiency in Word and Excel and the ability to learn use of database systems.

Experience in the use of University-specific software (Moodle, SAMIS/SITS and Business Objects) is desirable though not essential. Most important is an interest in our work and a willingness to become fully involved in the life of the Faculty and its departments.

For an informal discussion about the role, please contact Paula Gabriel (Programmes Manager Operations) P.Gabriel@bath.ac.uk

We are currently trialling a hybrid work model which is a combination of both campus and home working.
