We are looking for a Student Living & Guest Experience Receptions Supervisor to join our team. We have over 4000 bedrooms - these are generally occupied by students during term time and operate as a hotel for short stays and conferences during vacation periods. We operate several reception 'hubs' on campus and in the City Centre who cater to these customers. This position will be predominantly based in the Virgil Building Reception, but will at times be expected to work in campus receptions.

The Student Living & Guest Experience team are responsible for ensuring outstanding service is delivered across all of our customer groups. This role supervises a small team of casual staff and you will be involved in their recruitment and responsible for their training. You'll work closely with your manager to ensure all of our receptions are effectively resourced and are providing a consistent service. You will need to confidently communicate with customers in-person as well as on the telephone and via email. This role also needs to form strong working relationships with other University departments and stakeholders such as Security.

You will have the ability to work in a fast paced environment with conflicting priorities. You will need to have previous experience in a customer-focused role and be able to demonstrate times that you've provided excellent customer service.

This is a fixed term role to cover maternity leave. Whilst the exact end date cannot be determined, we anticipate the role to run until 15/12/2022.

Full details of the role can be found in the job description.
