The University of Bath have vacancies within their Mail Services Team for a Mail Services Assistant.

There are three roles available:

One Part-Time, Mail Services Assistant working 25 hours in term time only

Rotation to include Saturdays

Monday to Friday weeks (08:30 - 14:00 (30 minutes break)) Rotation example; Monday 08:30 - 14:20, Weds - Fri 08:30 - 14:10 & Saturday 08:20 - 12:30

Two Full Time Mail Assistants working 36.5 hours in term time only Hours of attendance between the hours of 08:00 & 18:45 (Monday to Friday) & 08:20 - 12:30 on Saturdays

The role is responsible for the processing and distribution of all incoming mail and parcels, including delivery to Student Mailboxes, Student & Departmental buildings, on and off campus, and issuing of parcels to students through a customer focused counter service.

This is a customer focused role and we are looking for a candidates who has Excellent Customer Service Skills, communication skills and basic IT skills. In addition, you would need to demonstrate the ability to work within a team with a positive & enthusiastic outlook while being able to work alone unsupervised
