Departmental Health and Safety Handbook template
This document provides a template that departments can use to describe and communicate their health and safety arrangements.
Heads of Department are responsible for ensuring that there are suitable and sufficient health and safety arrangements in place covering all activities that fall under their control. These arrangements should be communicated to staff, students and visitors. The Health and Safety Handbook template provides a basis for identifying and recording arrangements and to communicate these to members of the department. Contents can be added or removed or amended as necessary to reflect the work and activities of the department.
