First Bus have confirmed the new route and timetable for the 22 service. From Monday 15 April it will run nine trips a day, Monday to Friday during term time, between the University of Bath and Southdown, serving Combe Down, Rush Hill, Southdown Avenue, Sladebrook Road and Mount Road.

The current Abus 22 service will stop on Thursday 28 March (the last day before Easter vacation).

You will be able to use First Bus annual passes on the new service. If you need to come to campus in vacation periods you can find information about alternative routes in the First Bus network.

You can also read about all the other changes to local First Bus services from 7 April and check any changes to timetables over the Easter weekend and bank holidays.

We fully appreciate that alternative travel to campus may not be possible or realistic for everyone. However, for those who are able to walk or cycle to the University, our guide includes details of secure cycle storage and free shower facilities. Students can also borrow a free bike from the SU, while staff can save money on a bike through the Cyclescheme.
