The University has a range of initiatives in place to support staff and student active travel commuting. You can learn more and see tailored advice on the active travel webpage.

If you're looking to get involved in cycling and would like some support, you might want to consider buddying up with a colleague who already cycles. This can be a fantastic way to discover the best routes, build confidence, and find someone to ride with socially. The staff and student Bicycle Users Group can provide you with a list of cycling buddies to contact. In addition to the events listed below, this is another great option to explore. You might also be interested to join the Riding In & Out group on teams who regularly arrange group cycle commutes.
