Be Well Week is full of wellbeing activities tasters and workshops for students to get involved in and kickstart healthy habits.

This year we have introduced several quiet sessions to support our community.

During our quiet sessions the environment is suited to students who prefer a quieter space such as students with ASC, social anxiety, neurodivergent students and anyone who feels particularly nervous, shy or awkward around others. In these sessions students may feel more comfortable wearing headphones and / or participating in silence and more free from certain social pressures. The quiet sessions include:

Quiet Terrarium making workshop

Bringing the outdoors in can be a great way to enjoy plants all the year around. Join in with our workshop to make your very own terrarium. We supply all the materials you need to make your own terrarium to take home.

Quiet Art for wellbeing

Join artist Samantha Hickman for this hands on art for wellbeing session. Create an intention stick using a variety of materials to embody an intention.

Quiet Wellbeing walk to Sham Castle

Join our ambassadors for a short lunchtime walk around the campus boundary and to visit Sham Castle. A great way to get away from the busy campus and meet others.

Quiet feel good boxes

Come along to make your own personalised feel good box. Make your own stress-ball , decorate a glass tea-light holder and fill your box with some freebies specially selected to bring a smile to your face.
