If you’re a member of staff here in Bath, remember there’s a range of career and vacancy opportunities available within the University including full-time, part-time and secondment roles.

Finding out about opportunities

To see vacancies that are available internally, please log in to Jobs at Bath using single sign on and view all current vacancies, or group them by Department or by job family:

If you can't find what you're looking for right now, we offer a free email service to alert you to jobs which may interest you. You can sign up to receive Jobs by Email and can set up to three 'subscriptions'. You can refine your requirements using keywords, job family categories, full- or part-time posts and minimum salary. Emails can be set to send daily or weekly. You can also set up an RSS Feed.

We’re also featuring a ‘vacancy of the week’ in University Update all-staff email bulletin every Monday, and you can find out more on our new HR Recruitment Resources web pages.

We encourage applications from all genders, backgrounds and communities, particularly from under-represented groups. We are proud to be a Disability Confident leader, committed to building disability confidence and supporting staff with disabilities.

Secondment, job share and part-time opportunities

As a member of staff, you can apply for a fixed term role and ask for your application to be considered on a secondment basis, you just need the consent of your current line manager.

As a University we are committed to flexible working, so if a position is advertised as full-time and you are looking for part-time opportunities or are interested in job sharing, reach out to the recruiting manager to discuss what flexibility may be available.

Also remember the University has a range of information and resources if you are looking to develop within your current role. The Staff Learning and Development webpages cover a range of topics including learning and development, career development and leadership and management. And your SDPR is a good opportunity to explore feedback and ideas with your manager.
