Develop a Wellbeing Action Plan

Download information about individual, department and faculty wellbeing action plans to support your own or your team's wellbeing.

Developing a Wellbeing Action Plan (WAP) is a practical and proactive way to support your mental health and wellbeing at work. This is a well-used tool developed by the mental health charity MIND, which we have adapted for use by University staff.

There are separate Wellbeing Action Plans to support your own wellbeing and the wellbeing of your Faculty and/or Department.

Individual Wellbeing Action Plan (WAP)

A Wellbeing Action Plan reminds us what we need to do to stay well at work and details what our line managers can do to support us. It also helps us develop an awareness of our working style, stress triggers and responses, and enables us to communicate these.

Download the template Individual Wellbeing Action Plan to create a set of realistic targets to support your own wellbeing.

Faculty and Department Wellbeing Action Plan (FDWAP)

Download the Faculty and Department Wellbeing Action Plan flowchart and contact employeewellbeing@bath.ac.uk to create a set of realistic targets to support and promote the wellbeing of your team and colleagues.
