Individual Mitigating Circumstances (IMC) Policy

UGAR and PGTAR - principles and procedures for dealing with IMCs for courses regulated by these assessment regulations

This policy applies to students on the following courses:

Undergraduate

ALL undergraduate students from the 2023/24 academic year onwards, including returning/continuing students.

Postgraduate

Faculty of Engineering & Design

The following course for students starting from October 2023 or later:

  • MSc Engineering Business Management

The following courses for students starting from October 2022 or later:

  • MSc Architectural Engineering: Environmental Design
  • MSc Civil Engineering
  • MSc Civil Engineering: Innovative Structural Materials
  • MSc Conservation of Historic Buildings
  • MSc Modern Building Design
  • Postgraduate Certificate in Architectural Practice
  • Postgraduate Certificate in Professional Practice
  • MSc Environmental Engineering
  • MSc Automotive Engineering with Business Management
  • MSc Automotive Engineering with Electric Propulsion
  • MSc Automotive Technology
  • MSc Automotive Technology with Business Management

    Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences

    Students on the following course:

  • Clinical Associate in Psychology (Degree Apprenticeship)

    School of Management

    All MSc courses for students starting in October 2023 or later
