Our responsibilities

The Press Office:

  • publicises the impact of our academics' research
  • communicates news from the University, its staff, students and collaborators
  • provides information in crisis situations
  • puts the media, government departments and MPs in touch with experts

The Internal Communications team:

The Strategic Communications, Campaigns, and Social Media team:

  • communicates messages to students, staff, industry and our local community through campaigns, content creation, and social media
  • advises departments on social media best-practice
  • develops and delivers external campaigns to promote University messages around research and enterprise
