We work with the Associate Dean for Research, as well as Faculty and Department colleagues to further our strategic research aims, promote positive research culture, progress projects across our research portfolio and develop research-related knowledge, skills and understanding for all.

Between us we:

• develop, implement, monitor and evaluate Faculty and departmental research strategies (with academic colleagues)
• work closely with individuals, groups and research centres to further their research aims
• implement Research Excellence Framework operations across our units of assessment
• co-ordinate funded research projects and activities
• develop and manage policies, procedures and processes as they relate to research
• manage research-related data and information
• support visibility of and promote HSS research
• manage the HSS Research Hub SharePoint
• represent HSS in areas of key research development across the University
