Learning Outcomes: Upon successful completion of this Unit students will have demonstrated the ability to evaluate critically current research and advanced scholarship in the discipline; to evaluate methodologies and develop critiques of them and, where appropriate, to propose new hypotheses.

Content: Sources of information, library, referencing, writing types, report writing, presentation techniques. Research methodologies, experimental methods, synthesis of results.
