Click here for further information Description: Aims:
To develop engineering experimentation skills required in the chemical engineering industries, and to further enhance students' abilities to write technical reports and to interpret technical information.

Learning Outcomes:
After successfully completing this unit students should be able to:
* analyse experimental data and carry out advanced engineering calculations;
* conduct appropriate error and risk analyses;
* communicate experimental results in written and oral form; and
* prepare reports to high technical and linguistic standards.

Skills:
Presentation and teamwork skills; use of log books; data management; quantitative and qualitative error analyses.

Content:
A total of 10 laboratory and team-working exercises.
