Aims & Learning Objectives:
Aims - To provide an elementary introduction to integration and to statistics.
Objectives - Students should know the integrals of standard functions and be able to apply basic integration techniques to evaluate definite and indefinite integrals. Students will know the definitions of basic statistical measures and be able to apply the definitions to analyse a given set of data.

Content:
Brief review of differentiation, standard integrals, definite integrals and their relation to areas, volumes of revolution, integration by substitution, integration by parts, first order ordinary differential equations, mean, mode, median, quartiles, histograms, standard deviation.
