The unit aims to give an understanding of the role of the treasurer in a financial organisation.

Learning Outcomes:
Understanding and addressing the issues surrounding treasury management and international financial management.

Skills:
Analytical skills: defining the exposures facing an organisation and analysing the financial consequences of the various approaches to hedging and managing risk TA.
Advocacy: being able to support an argument based on the facts and personal risk preferences TFA
Professional/practical: learning about markets and instruments TA
Key skills: analytical, numerical, organisational TFA.

Content:
Working capital management, managing foreign exchange and interest rate risk, international investment appraisal.
