Participate in CRISP season 2019-20

You can register your club for the 2019-20 season.

The Community Rugby Injury Surveillance and Prevention (CRISP) Project is an RFU funded programme and coordinated by a team at the University of Bath with the aim of providing a comprehensive understanding of the injury profile in the English men's community game.

For season 2019-20, we are currently recruiting men’s teams from RFU level 3-9 clubs to report on their 1st team match play injuries. This valuable information will help to build our long term profile of injuries in the English communtiy game.

The CRISP Project is proud to be one of the world's largest and longest running injury surveillance programmes in community sport.

Participating clubs will benefit from

  • Final season reports for match injuries, compared with other clubs.
  • Contributing to our understanding of injury patterns and prevention in English Community rugby union.

What we require from your club over the 2019-20 season

  • Details on any 1st XV match injuries causing the player to miss one match or more.
  • Brief information for each 1st XV match.
  • Brief details on age, weight and height for 1st team squad players and signed consent form from each player.

Your participation in this project is entirely voluntary but we hope that you can see the importance of this project and wish to be involved. Should you have any questions about participation in this project, we will happy to provide further details.
