Final year students who graduate from Bath this summer are invited to apply to the Foulathi Entrepreneurship and Innovation Award, designed to turn innovative business ideas into viable start-ups.

Students from any faculty can apply for the award, and successful participants will receive a comprehensive start-up package including financial support; access to training and facilities at the University and at the award-winning Innovation Centre. In addition, they will receive valuable guidance from business mentors.

Dr Chris Archer-Brown from the School of Management, one of the academics leading the scheme, said: “This is a really fantastic opportunity for graduates. The award covers every aspect of support needed by young digital entrepreneurs, and will we hope give the recipients a springboard to create exciting new tech firms.”

To apply for the award students will need to be able to demonstrate commitment to innovation and enterprise through involvement in enterprise activities at University, or ideas developed as a structured part of their degree.

Students are invited to apply for the award by Thursday 2 June for consideration by the awards panel, made up of academics and entrepreneurs.
