Getting registered as a new student at a Partner College

We look forward to meeting all new students starting on our franchised foundation degree programme at your induction day at the University of Bath campus. There will be an induction programme during which we will introduce you to the facilities available to students. You will meet representatives of the Students' Union, who will talk about their services and offer you a tour of the campus.  You will also have the opportunity to complete registration on the University computers with trained helpers and student finance staff available to help with any queries. Very importantly, we need to see you so that we can verify to Student Finance England that you are on the course. Once you are registered, you will be able to collect your University Library/ Students' Union card from the University Library.

Detailed arrangements for induction and registration sessions will be sent to all new students before the start of the course. Details will also be available from programme leader on the first day of term.

FD Addictions Counselling - induction day Wednesday 7th September.

Students commencing on the Honour's year following successful completion of any of our franchised Foundation Degrees will be asked to register by email. These students will not be invited to an induction day.

What should I do if I am unable to attend my induction session?

It is really important that you make the time to attend your registration and induction session at the University, because staff will be available then to help you. But if you are unable to attend your induction session for good reasons then you will need to make alternative arrangements, particularly if you need to speak to a member of staff directly.

If you have any general questions about what you should do then please contact the Learning Partnerships team directly by emailing Maria Clutterbuck or calling 01225 385549.
