The Self-Service Portal home page has a cleaner, less cluttered look.
We have also redesigned the pages and forms behind the "DDaT Support: IT & Audio Visual" tile. This is where you go to report an IT or audio visual issue, make a request, or check on something you have already logged. The new design is available from Monday 14 September.
The services behind the other tiles are unchanged.
What's different
DDaT Support is now organised by type of service rather than by what you want to do. Service areas include storage, accounts, network connectivity, equipment, and more. We made these changes following feedback from people using the portal, to make it easier to find what you need.
We have added some new forms and moved others.
What stays the same
You will sign in the same way and anything you have previously logged will still be there. The portal address is unchanged. You can still reach it at go.bath.ac.uk/it-help.
What you need to do
If you use DDaT Support regularly, it is worth taking a moment to look around the first time you visit, as some things are in different places.
If you have saved or pinned a link to a form, it may no longer work. Go to DDaT Support in the Self-Service Portal and find the service you need from there.
If you look after a team page or a set of links for colleagues, it is worth checking those too.
What's coming next
We are also updating the self-help guides, so the information behind them is clearer and easier to search. We will let you know when that work is done.
If something isn't working
We tested the new design with staff across the University before launch but if you spot something that isn't working, please let us know by raising a ticket.
