The development provides accommodation and amenities for 926 students, allowing us to house most of our new students on campus in their first year, and supporting essential incremental growth in student numbers over the coming years.
This is a landmark investment, demonstrating the University’s commitment to our students and to remaining at the forefront of the sector long into the future.
Works will begin later in 2026.
Inevitably, construction could involve increased noise and traffic at certain times, as well as loss of the East Car Park Overflow. We would always aim to mitigate disruption as much as possible.
Visitors to the campus will be provided with clear instructions, maps, and signage about access and parking on site during construction.
