We recognise this is a concerning time for parents and supporters of our students. We will use this page to communicate key information on decisions taken by the University in relation to coronavirus which will affect students.

As our response to the coronavirus evolves in line with national decisions, we will work to keep you as updated as possible. For more information, please see our dedicated Coronavirus (COVID-19) information and guidance page.

Teaching and learning

For all undergraduates and those taking taught graduate courses, we will deliver all teaching online for the remainder of Semester 2, which ends on 29 May 2020.

The details and timing of teaching online are being communicated with students directly by their relevant departments.

As face-to-face assessment can no longer take place, we have produced new guidance for departments and Directors of Studies to allow assessments to proceed, with more details to follow.

We hope this will enable our students to make informed choices about whether to stay on campus or to relocate elsewhere.

University campus

To see the availability of services on campus, please visit the Latest information on campus facilities webpage.

Further information on large scale events, including graduations and open days, is expected to be issued in due course.

Further information and support

We have asked our students to raise specific questions or concerns about their studies with their personal tutor, or the Director of Studies for their course. Academic and pastoral support will continue to be available through departments.

If students need wellbeing support, wherever they are located, they should ring 01225 383838 or email studentservices@bath.ac.uk with their phone number and we will return their call. All our services continue to be available but will be provided virtually by phone, video or email. They should not hesitate to make use of these services should they need them.

If they have specific concerns about their health in relation to COVID-19, they need to contact NHS 111.

We recommend that our students visit daily our dedicated Coronavirus (COVID-19) information and guidance page.
