This is a notice to remind researchers about the upcoming Research Ethics Committee deadlines.
We expect to receive a very high number of ethics applications aiming for the January Research Ethics Committee meetings, as researchers aim to submit their projects in and around the Christmas break. Researchers should be aware that it may not be possible for all applications to be reviewed if the number received exceeds the capacity of the committees. If the January meetings are oversubscribed, we will be required to reallocate applications to the February meetings.
We therefore ask all staff and students who are currently working on Ethics@Bath applications, to please submit these in time for the earlier December meeting deadlines published here, where possible. The deadline and dates of these earlier meetings are as follows:
Social Sciences Research Ethics Committee:
- Deadline: Wednesday, 27 November 2024
- Meeting: Wednesday, 11 December 2024
Biomedical Sciences Research Ethics Committee:
- Deadline: Wednesday, 4 December 2024
- Meeting: Wednesday, 18 December 2024
Data & Digital Research Ethics Committee:
- Deadline: Thursday, 5 December 2024
- Meeting: Thursday, 19 December 2024
