Feel-good comedy aerobics designed to help you reclaim your mojo. Laugh yourself stronger, fitter, more confident and less anxious in this fun fitness class.
Thursday 8 October
Brilliant Basics for staff in-person session
2 South 10.00am to 11.30am
This workshop will help you reflect on what enables you to thrive at work and beyond.
- Explore what being at your best means for you
- Reflect on your own wellbeing
- Learn where to find simple tools and sources of support
- Complete an Individual Wellbeing Action plan and prepare for a wellbeing conversation
Monday 12 October
Brilliant Basics for managers in-person session
This workshop is designed for anyone who manages or supervises others. It will provide practical resources to support both your own wellbeing and that of your team.
- Understand why wellbeing-aware management benefits everyone
- Reflect on your own wellbeing and leadership behaviours
- Explore how your actions and behaviours influence others
- Learn where to find the tools and resources that support team wellbeing
You’ll also complete an action plan to help create a healthy, supportive environment where your team can thrive.

13, 14, 15 October
BaNES Wellness Service NHS Health Check
Outside School of Management, 8.00am to 4.00pm (drop in on the day for a walk in appointment or to book a scheduled slot)
The BaNES Wellbeing Service will be coming to Campus this October. Between 13 to 15 October, they will be offering NHS health checks for staff. An NHS Health Check is a free check-up delivered by health professionals for adults aged 40 to 74 who have not had a stroke, or been diagnosed with diabetes, kidney disease or a heart condition including high blood pressure or high cholesterol. The check will include:
- height, weight, BMI, waist measurements
- blood pressure
- cholesterol
- blood glucose level
- cardiovascular disease risk
If you'd like to get your health checked, come along on any of the days. Each appointment will last 30 minutes.
Please note, you'll need to bring your NHS number.
Looking to quit smoking?
If you'd like to talk to someone about stopping smoking, you can drop in on Tuesday 13 October, between 9.00am and 12.00pm.
Wednesday 14 October
Wellbeing Walk
The Library, 12.30pm to 1.30pm (approximate finish)
Setting off from the Library at 12.30pm, this is a chance to enjoy the beautiful views of the Bath skyline and meet colleagues from across the University.
