The University is offering a special programme of online support for students graduating this summer who are looking to further their studies at Postgraduate level this autumn.

The programme is a collaboration between the Skills Centre, Careers Service and the Library and will run during August and September 2020. Available to all applicants, whether they completed their Undergraduate degree with us in Bath or elsewhere, this is part of the wider Stay Connected package of support designed to help this year’s graduating students navigate the unique challenges they face as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic.

Faced with an uncertain job market, many graduates might now be considering options to continue their studies. This programme will ensure that the transition to Postgraduate level will be as smooth as possible for them.’ – Professor Peter Lambert, Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Learning & Teaching)

The UG to PGT Study Programme will include:

  • Information on academic study options
  • Skills development modules to help you build on the key academic skills required at Postgraduate level
  • A pre-arrival course from the Careers Service focusing on employability skills to help you plan the next steps in your career
  • Virtual coffee mornings hosted by the Library, Careers Service and the Students' Union where you can find out more about the support available for Postgraduate students.

For graduates of the University of Bath, a postgraduate progression award is available to help them to continue studying here. Students who graduated from Bath in December 2019 or July 2020 can find out if they are eligible for a 20% discount off postgraduate tuition fees for the 2020/21 academic year.
